Description
The Denodo Administrator will be responsible for the effective installation, configuration, and maintenance of Denodo Platform environments. This role involves ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the data virtualization infrastructure, as well as providing technical support and guidance to development teams.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and manage Denodo Platform environments across development, testing, and production stages.
- Monitor system performance, implement tuning improvements, and conduct capacity planning to ensure high availability and scalability.
- Manage security configurations, including user access control, authentication, and authorization within the Denodo Platform.
- Coordinate with IT and data teams to integrate Denodo with various data sources and downstream applications, ensuring seamless data flow and connectivity.
- Perform regular platform upgrades and patches, adhering to best practices and minimizing downtime.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Denodo architecture, configurations, and best practices.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical support for Denodo-related issues, working closely with Denodo support as needed.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing by conducting Denodo Platform training sessions and workshops for internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Denodo Administrator role or similar, with proven expertise in managing Denodo Platform environments.
- Strong understanding of data virtualization, ETL processes, and data integration patterns.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL) is essential.
- Familiarity with networking, security protocols, and database connectivity.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
